Welcome to Mississippi Palisades State Park, 2500 acres of steep cliffs and limestone caverns located on the banks of the Mississippi River near Savanna, Illinois.

Flora and Fauna: This park is home to numerous species of plants and animals. Some of the park's plants include trilliums, bluebells, and several species of fern. Some of the park's animals include deer, skunks, squirrels, foxes, badgers, muskrats, and weasels. Please treat their home with respect.

For the lover of the outdoors Mississippi Palisades State Park boasts nearly seven miles of trails, over 200 campsites(110 of which have electricity), and several picnic shelters. Come on out and have fun.
