Jon Duerr Forest Preserve

Welcome to Kane County's Jon Duerr Forest Preserve. One of the unique features of Jon Duerr Forest Preserve is an 8 foot waterfall that is located on the south end of the Riverbend trail. The park also features a Blackhawk Statue and a grave site of unknown soldiers of General Scott's Army. This preserve boasts multipurpose trails, a canoe launch, and much more. Some of the wild animals that inhabit this preserve include white-tailed deer, rabbits, squirrels, raccoons, hawks, owls, and many others. Come on out and explore!
