Welcome to the Bliss Woods Forest Preserve, an oasis of woodlands and sedge meadows, located in Sugar Grove, Illinois. The Bliss Woods Forest Preserve provides suburban Chicago with many recreational opportunities and is home to several species of plants including Sugar Maple and Linden Trees. It's 231 acres include wetlands as well as an old 10 acres farm that is returning to it's forest state. The first tract of land was purchased in 1984 and it was expanded in 1999 and 2001. Come on out and enjoy.
