Welcome to Indiana's unique and historic Mounds State Park located near Anderson. Like the park's name implies, this is the site of Native American mounds of the Adena-Hopewell culture, the oldest of which is believed to have been constructed around 160 B.C. Archeological evidence indicates that the mounds were used for religious gatherings where the stars could be seen.

Aside from all the history, Mounds State Park also boasts a swimming pool, 75 campsites with electricity, over six miles of trails, and more. Come out and explore.
