Welcome to Hanover Park in Cedar Lake, Indiana. A few of the softball diamonds are lighted so people can play at night. 

The City of Cedar Lake Park Parks and Recreation Department has made it their goal to develop and enhance the park facilities to meet the present and future needs of all citizens of all ages but also to protect floodplains and some wildlife habitat. 

Cedar Lake Indiana Park Ordinances

*Except for lighted areas all parks open at dawn and close at dusk.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; camping, fires, motor vehicles, sledding, skating, remote-control airplanes, swimming.

*The following are prohibited; littering, defacing public property, foul language, golfing. 

*Use of metal detectors requires a special permit.

*All dogs must be leashed no longer than 6 feet and waste removed. Please respect these and all local, State of Indiana, and United States statutes.
