Central Park

Welcome to Central Park in Griffith, Indiana. Like many cities across the nation Griffith, Indiana has a park named Central Park. Two of the ball diamonds as well as the two sand volleyball courts are lighted so people can play at night.

Griffith Indiana Park Ordinances

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 6:00 a.m. and close at dusk.

*The following are prohibited; disobeying an officer, defacing public property, littering, public intoxication, throwing projectiles,

*The following require special permits; overnight camping, advertising, public speeches, picnic groups of 25 people or more, horseback riding,

*The following are only allowed in designated areas, fishing, fires, organized athletic play, boating.

*All animals must be leashed and waste removed.
