Welcome to Douglas Woods Nature Preserve in Hamilton, Indiana. The Nature Conservancy purchased this old growth forest from the Douglas Family in 1993 and it helps protect habitat for rare species like Blanding's Turtle and Blue Spotted Salamander. The preserve is not open to the public.
