Community Park

Welcome to Community Park in downtown Munster, Indiana. This is one of the town's largest and most active recreation areas and boasts several little league ball diamonds, a swimming pool with a diving board and 2 water slides, 2 picnic shelters (Rotary Shelter with a 100 person capacity and Lions Shelter with a 125 person capacity), and over 2 miles of walking trails.

Munster Indiana Park Ordinances

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 6:00 a.m. and close at dusk.

*The following are prohibited; alcoholic beverages, defacing public property, glass objects, harming wildlife, littering, weapons.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; bicycles, fires, fishing, golfing, motor vehicles, skating, sledding.

*All animals must be leashed and waste removed.
