Floyd County Park Rules

*People who use the park’s picnic facilities must clean up when they are finished.

*Please respect the safety of all park users and staff.

*Fireworks and firearms are prohibited.

*Golfing is prohibited.

*Please do not remove any park plants or soil.

*Please treat all park property with respect.

*Swimming is prohibited.

*Dumping of solids or liquids in any park drain, lake, or waterway is prohibited.

*NO LITTERING! Please place all trash in proper trash receptacles.

*All burning is restricted to grills.

*No camping without special permission.

*Consumption of alcohol is prohibited.

*All children ages six years of age and older, unless needing special assistance, may not use the restrooms designated for the opposite sex.

*Use of metal detectors is prohibited.

*No smoking near playgrounds or youth activity centers.

*All motor vehicles must stay in designated areas.

*Motorboats are prohibited.

*All animals must be leashed and waste removed. The leash may not be more than 10 feet in length.

*Please do not disturb park wildlife.

*No panhandling or soliciting.

*No posting of signs.
