Welcome to Southeastway Park located in New Palestine, Indiana. This park is a large nature preserve owned by the City of Indianapolis and helps to protect a habitat of forests, wetlands, and meadows that give home to wild animals such as snapping turtles, white-tailed deer, blue herons, peregrine falcons, red-tailed hawks, grey squirrels, foxes, and coyotes. In order to access this park from Indianapolis get off of Interstate 74 at the Acton Road exit. There are numerous Environmental Education Programs offered at Southeastway Park year-round thus making it a popular field trip destination for local school children. Come on out and explore this park's trails, or use the sledding hill on a snowy day, eat at one of it's six picnic shelters with grills, have some fun!
