Welcome to the largest wetland in the interior United States, the beautiful Cheyenne Bottoms Wildlife Area located in Great Bend, Kansas. The State of Kansas first purchased this land in the 1950's and over the years many restoration efforts have occurred. Hunting is not allowed but bird-watching is.
