Welcome to Wyandotte County Lake Park in Kansas City, Kansas. This park's central feature is it's 400 acre lake.

Picnicking: Wyandotte County Lake Park has 16 picnic shelters.

Shelter 1 is located on the east side of the lake near James P. Davis Hall and has 4 tables 2, grills, as well as 2 fireplace grills in the shelter.

Shelter 2 is located in the southern end of the park near the ranger's office. It has 6 tables, 2 grills, and a restroom nearby.

Shelter 3 is not far from Shelters 5 & 7. It has 4 tables, 2 grills, and 1 fireplace grill.

Shelter 4 is located off the main road near the lake. It has 4 tables, 2 grills, and 2 fireplace grills.

Shelter 5 is located near Shelters 3 & 7. It has 4 tables, 2 grills, and 1 fireplace grill.

Shelter 6 is located on Stotler Cove and has 6 tables and 2 grills.

Shelter 7 is located near Shelters 3 & 5. It has 4 tables, 2 grills, and 1 fireplace grill.

Shelter 8 is located near the beach. It has 4 tables, 2 grills, and 1 fireplace grill in the shelter.

Shelter 9 is located near the Boy Scout Area. It has 4 tables, 2 grills, and 1 fireplace grill in the shelter.

Shelter 10 is located on the west side of the lake and has 4 tables, 2 grills, and 2 fireplace grills with a restroom and shelter located nearby.

Shelter 11 is located near the dam and has 4 tables, 2 grills, and 2 fireplace grills with a restroom and playground located nearby.

Shelter 12 is the most isolated one has 4 tables, 2 grills, and 1 fireplace grill with restrooms and a playground nearby.,
