Welcome to Edgewood Park in Lawrence, Kansas. This park was first established in 1961 when the City of Lawrence purchased the land from Moore Land Inc and was expanded in 1977.

Lawrence Kansas Park Ordinances

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 6:00 a.m. and close at 11:00 p.m.

*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, harming wildlife, littering, smoking.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, motor vehicles.

*All pets must be leashed and waste removed.

*All persons ages 16-64 must have a fishing license to fish.

Please respect these and all local, State of Kansas, and United States statutes.
