Welcome to Naismith Valley Park in Lawrence, Kansas. This nearly mile long linear park has a hiking trail and helps protect floodplain habitat leading to the Wakarusa River. The park's official website says 25 acres but the GIS data gives the number below. Thus the exact acreage is unknown.

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 6:00 a.m. and close at 11:00 p.m.

*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, harming wildlife, littering, smoking.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, motor vehicles.

*All pets must be leashed and waste removed.

*All persons ages 16-64 must have a fishing license to fish.
