Leawood City Park

Welcome to Leawood City Park located on the banks of Indian Creek in Leawood, a suburb of Kansas City. This large 84 acre park has some great athletic facilities including 11 soccer fields, 6 lighted tennis courts, 3 basketball courts, 2 baseball diamonds, and 2 sand volleyball courts, a swimming pool with 8 lap lanes, 3 diving boards, and a water slide. Additionally there is an ADA accessible playground for the kids, the Leawoof Dog Park, as well as summer events including day camps and 4th of July festivities.

Picnicking: The picnic area at Leawood City Park has 5 picnic shelters. The East and West Shelter Houses (which can be reserved together) each have 6 tables, a 48 person capacity, and 2 grills and are located near the basketball and volleyball courts. The East and West Gazebos (which can be reserved together) each have 4 tables and 2 grills. The Lions Shelter has 12 tables, a 100 person capacity, and 2 grills, and is located near the playground. Come out and have a cookout.
