Kentucky Ridge State Forest
Welcome to Kentucky Ridge State Forest located in Kentucky’s Appalachian region of Bell County. In 1930, the State of Kentucky first leased this land under the Land Use and Resettlement Program. In 1954, the Federal Government transferred the land to the State of Kentucky. Kentucky Ridge State Forest helps protect the home of numerous wild critters including deer, foxes, squirrels, and raccoons. Please treat their home with respect. For the lover of the outdoors this forest boasts multipurpose trails, fishing opportunities, the Pine Mountain State Resort Park, and so much more. Come on out and have a blast!
