Welcome to Ashumet Holly Wildlife Sanctuary in East Falmouth, Massachusetts. This beautiful nature preserve was owned by a man named Wilfred Wheeler, the state first commissioner of agricultural back in 1924. Wheeler operated it as a family farm but it has since returned to a state of nature with hiking trails that are open during daylight hours and a small pond that has great wildflowers in the spring and fall months.
