Welcome to Sheard Park in Holyoke, Massachusetts. This park is named in memory of local WWII veteran Bill J. Sheard who fell in Battle on December 21, 1944. In addition to being a veteran some of his other accomplishments included being the Class of 1929 President at Sacret Heart High and being captain of the local baseball and basketball teams.

The neighboring school campus is included in this park's acreage.
