Welcome to Mineral Hills Conservation Area in Northampton, Massachusetts. This preserve helps protect valuable wetlands, beaver ponds, forests, and an old abandoned quarry. Come out for some great hiking and wildlife viewing opportunities.

Northampton Massachusetts Park Ordinances

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 7:00 a.m. year round and close at 9 p.m. from April 1-October 31 and at 7 p.m. from November 1-March 31.

*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, harming wildlife, littering.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, motor vehicles.

*All animals must be leashed and waste removed.
