Merrymount Park

Welcome to Merrymount Park located on the shores of Blacks Creek in Quincy, Massachusett, a section of Boston. This is the city's largest and most active recreation area and is home to a number of facilities including, Adams Field, one of New England's top amateur baseball fields, the Adam's Walk which contains a local WWII monument among other things, Colletta Field, a regulation baseball field, the Ruth Gordon Amphitheater, the Ryan Boathouse, and so much more. Charles Francis Adams, grandson of President John Quincy Adams, generously donated this land to the city in 1885.

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 1 hour before dawn. and close at 1 hour after dusk.

*The following are prohibited; alcohol, defacing public property, harming of wildlife, littering.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, motor vehicles.

*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.
