Governor’s Bridge Natural Area and Canoe Launch

Welcome to Governor's Bridge Natural Area and Canoe Launch located in Bowtie, Maryland. This is actually part of the much larger Patuxent River Park. In the 1960's this land was mined for it's rock resources but became a section of the park in the 1980's. The 8 acre lake is a great place for catching small mouth bass.
