Welcome to Maydale Conservation Park, a natural park located in Colesville, Maryland. Montgomery County first purchased this land in 1971 and today it is home to the Maydale Nature Center which is run by the local school board, thus making it a popular field trip destination. Anybody is welcome to come out and explore it's hiking trails. This park protects a forest and a pond that give home to raccoons, turtles, frogs, squirrels, hawks, owls, and many others.
