Jane’s Island State Park
Welcome to the beautiful Jane's Island State Park located in the Chesapeake Bay in southern Maryland. Jane's Island itself is nearly 3,000 acres in size and protects a saltwater marsh and beach ecosystem that give habitat for many fish, crabs, and birds. Many paddlers come here from miles around to explore nearly 30 miles of aquatic trails and the park even rents out canoes and kayaks.
Picnicking: Jane's Island State Park may just be the place to have your next outdoor party! There are two 120 person capacity shelters and each one has charcoal grills. The volleyball courts are nearby.
Camping: Janes Island State Park boasts 100 campsites and 49 of them, just under half, have electrical hookups for RV trailers. Come out and stay a few nights.
