Fairgrounds Park

Welcome to Fairgrounds Park, the largest and most active park in Hagerstown, Maryland. Each year this park is home to the annual 4th of July fireworks show. The softball diamonds and roller-hockey courts are lighted so people can play at night. Come out and try the BMX course.

When visiting any park in Hagerstown, Maryland it is important to know the rules.

*Alcoholic beverages and glass containers are prohibited.

*All burning is restricted to picnic grills.

*The following activities are prohibited; soliciting, camping, setting off rockets, playing with remote control aircraft, boating, swimming, use of metal detectors.

*Inline-skates, bicycles, and skateboards must stay in designated areas.

*No littering! Please place all trash in proper containers.

*Fishing is only allowed at Pangborn Park.

*All motor vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all traffic laws.

*All animals must be leashed and waste removed.

*Please do not use foul language or engage in boisterous behavior. Please respect the safety of other users.

Any person violating any of these rules is subject to jail time and/or a $500 fine. Please respect these rules, the parks, and all local, State of Maryland, and United States Statutes. Be safe and have fun.
