Matapeake State Park

Stevensville, Maryland

Welcome to Maryland's small yet scenic Matapeake State Park located on Kent Island in the town of Stevensville. This land was once used for the Chesapeake Bay Ferry System and first became a State Park in 1941. Although the State owns the land, Queen Anne's County manages the site. Today the park's clubhouse can be reserved for weddings and other events. Come out and enjoy a beach for both humans and dogs, do a little fishing, and have fun.
