Watkins Regional Park

Watkins Regional Park is conveniently located minutes from the Capital Beltway. If you enjoy tent camping, choose from thirty individual sites or three group sites. Camp sites are open year round, and comfort stations with hot showers are available. The park boasts an antique carousel, believed to have been constructed at the turn of the century. After a whirl on the carousel, enjoy the Park's beautiful woodlands while riding behind our miniature locomotive. Old Maryland Farm is located within walking distance of the train and is an educational farm facility. Finish your fun with an exciting round of 18-hole miniature golf. Watkins air-conditioned Tennis Bubble provides five indoor tennis courts. The Nature Center offers wildlife investigation with hands-on exhibits, various programs, and special events.
