Bigelow Preserve
Welcome to the large Bigelow Preserve sprawling over 30,000 acres of beautiful forested land consisting of seven peaks including the 4,150 foot West Peak. On the preserve’s northern boundary is the 20,000 acre Flagstaff Lake which forms a part of the 740 mile Northern Forest Canoe Trail which spans through Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, and Quebec. The Appalachian Trail runs through the Bigelow Preserve and the preserve offers over 20 miles of trails for snowmobiling and cross-country skiing in the wintertime. Come on out and have a blast!
