Mackworth Island Public Reserved Land

Welcome to the Mackworth Island Public Reserved Land located near Falmouth, Maine. This island park is connected to the mainland via a causeway near the mouth of the Presumpscot River. This small island boasts a 1.25 mile trail for hikers to enjoy. This island was donated to the State of Maine by Governor Percival Proctor Baxter in 1946. Come on out and explore.
