Welcome to Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park located in Freeport, Maine.
Park History: Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Smith of Freeport, Maine donated this land to the State in 1969. Today the park's diverse ecosystems of saltwater marsh, rocky coast, and forests provide wildlife habitat for the once endangered osprey. Some of the facilities at this park were funded by the Loon License plates. These facilities include hiking trails and picnic tables. Come on out and explore.
