Welcome to the Moosehead Lake Public Reserved Land located in Piscataquis County, Maine. This preserve offers many campsites accessible by watercraft and hikers can enjoy the scenic views from the top of Mount Kineo. Moosehead lake is a section of the 740 mile Northern Forest Canoe Trail which runs through Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, and Quebec. Other great features include cliffs that are up to 700 feet high. Moosehead Lake is the state's largest. Come on out and explore.
