Welcome to Popham Beach State Park in Phippsburg, Maine. This place is Maine's busiest state park beach and has all the necessities one would expect at a beach including bath houses, showers, and lifeguards on duty during the summer months. Come out for some swimming, horseback riding (horse permit required) or sea kayaking opportunities.

CAUTION: Shark sightings are a growing problem in New England so be on the lookout for sharks. Fast rising tides can also be a problem at Popham Beach State Park.
