Welcome to Western Promenade in Portland, Maine. This is one of Portland's oldest parks and is a great place from which to watch the sunset or go sledding on snowy winter days. On a clear day it is even possible to see the summit of 6,288 foot Mount Washington in New Hampshire from the highest point in the park.

The publicly owned cemetery is included in this park's profile. This park is also home to Valley Street Community Garden.

To contact the park office please call 207-808-5400.
