Allmendinger Park

Ann Arbor, Michigan

Welcome to Allmendinger Park in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This park was first established in 1917 when Mr. G. Frank Allmendinger generously donated the first parcel of land to the City of Ann Arbor and requested that it be named for his grandfather John George Allmendinger, a 19th century settler of the region. This place has beautiful wildflowers as well as great kite-flying opportunities in the spring, a picnic area with grills, a playground with a merry go round, and much more.
