Welcome to Mushroom Park in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This park was first established in 1961 as Vernon Downs Playlot but was eventually renamed by a local girl scout troup who chose the name due to the mushroom shaped climbing structures the park has. At the time this description was written in 2024 this park was home to the 2nd largest white oak tree in Ann Arbor.
