Welcome to the beautiful Lake Erie Metropark, a recreation area twice the size of New York City's Central Park located near Brownstown, Michigan on the shores of Lake Erie. The Great Wave swimming pool is a popular place to go on hot summer days and the cross country ski trails are a popular place to go on winter days.

Birding: Bird watchers should know that Lake Erie Metropark is one of the best places for seeing Hawks in all of North America. Over 300 species of birds have been spotted
