Welcome to the largest State Park in Michigan's lower peninsula, the fabulous Waterloo State Recreation Area, over 20,000 acres in size. Come out and explore many miles of multipurpose trails.

Wildlife: Waterloo State Recreation Area is home to numerous wild animals including bald eagles, red-tailed hawks, raccoons, squirrels, and many others. Please treat their home with respect when visiting.

Boating and Fishing: Waterloo State Recreation Area has a total of 8 boat launches and 11 fishing lakes. Come out and launch a watercraft and cast a line.
