Welcome to one of Detroit's oldest and most popular public spaces, the great Clark Park. Many improvements have been made to this 30 acre recreation area since the place was first established in the 19th century.

Detroit Michigan Park Ordinances

*Unless otherwiste posted all parks open at 6:00 a.m. and close at 10:00 p.m.

*The following are prohibited; camping, defacing public property, harming wildlife, littering, weapons.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, golfing, horseback riding, motor vehicles, organized athletic play, picnicking, skating, swimming.

*All sales require special permit.

*All dogs must be leashed (no longer than 6 feet) and waste removed.
