Welcome to Paavola Wetlands Nature Area in Hancock, Michigan. This beautiful preserve was first established in 1996 with the help of Copper Country Masonic Lodge Number 135. There are miles of trails (including some that are ADA accessible) to be explored and you may see some of the resident wildlife such as beavers, ducks, frogs, turtles.
