Van Raalte Farm Park
Welcome to Van Raalte Farm Park located in Holland, Michigan. This park is of historical significance to the City of Holland in that it was once owned by the man who founded the town, Reverend Albertus Van Raalte who purchased the land from the Federal Government in the mid-19th century for only $2.32 per acre. The land remained in the Van Raalte Family for over a century until the city purchased the land in 1983. Many of the historic buildings are still standing to this day. In the winter many people come here to enjoy the sledding hill or do some cross country skiing. Come out and have a nice picnic and bring the kids to the playground.
