Welcome to Verburg Park located on the banks of the Kalamazoo River in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This park is named after Cornelius Verburg who served as both Alderman and Mayor of Kalamazoo.

Kalamazoo Park Ordinances

*The following are prohibited; camping, sleeping between the hours of 9 p.m. and 7 a.m., alcoholic beverages, defacing public property, littering.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards, swimming, fishing, picnic grilling.

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 8 a.m. and close at sunset.

*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.
