Colonel Michilimackinac State Park

Located at the top of the lower peninsula just under the Interstate 75 bridge, history lovers will love Michigan's Colonel Michilimackinac State Park. This fort was built in the 18th century and trained many soldiers for combat. In the 19th century the Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse was construction.
