Welcome to Charles Mears State Park located in Pentwater, Michigan on the shores of Lake Michigan. This small state park was once owned by a man named Charles Mears and the land was given to the State of Michigan by his daughter Carrie in 1923. Today Charles Mears State Park boasts a sandy swimming beach, developed campsites, multipurpose trails, a playground, and much more. Come out and have fun!
