Petoskey State Park

Petoskey, Michigan

Petoskey State Park is a beautiful park located on the northern end of the lower Michigan peninsula on the shores of Little Traverse Bay. Centuries ago this land was territory of the Ottawa Native American peoples and in more recent times was owned by the W.W. Rice Company before being purchased by the City of Petoskey in 1934 and ultimately by the State of Michigan in 1968. This park boasts over 180 campsites (most of them developed), over three miles of multipurpose trails, and much more. Come out and have fun!
