Come out and expore the trails at Southfield's beautiful Carpenter Lake Nature Preserve. Some of the wild animals include squirrels, owls, hawks, raccoons, and many others.

Southfield Michigan Park Ordinances.

*The following activities are all prohibited; feeding wildlife, flying remote control aircraft, loitering, golfing, consumption of alcoholic beverages, playing loud music, littering, setting off fireworks.

*All parks open at sunrise and close at sunset.

*Burning is only allowed in grills.

*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.

*All unauthorized tents prohibited.

*Groups planning to use parks for special events must obtain special permit.

*Motorized vehicles are not allowed beyond the parking facilities.
