Wildlife: Hyland Lake Park Reserve helps protect the home of numerous wild animals including muskrats, white-tailed deer, foxes, coyotes, and wild turkeys. Please treat their home with respect.

For the lover of the outdoors this beautiful park boasts the Hyland Ski & Snowboard Area known as having some of the best snow-making in the Midwestern United States, the 18 hole Hyland disc golf course, the Park District's largest nature center, miles of multipurpose trails, and much more. Come on out and have fun.
