Frontenac State Park
Welcome to Frontenac State Park located on the banks of the Mississippi River in Frontenac, Minnesota.
Park History: In the area that is now Frontenac State Park, archeological digs have unearthed artifacts of the Hopewellian culture that date as far back as 400 B.C. Some of the limestone mined in this region went into the construction of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City.
