Kiwanis Recreation Area

Welcome to Kiwanis Recreation Area in Mankato, Minnesota on the banks of the Minnesota River. Come out and explore over five miles of multipurpose trails open for all seasons. This park protects wildlife habitat for many animals including bald eagles.

Mankato Minnesota Park Ordinances

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 6:30 a.m. and close at 10.30 p.m.

*The following are prohibited; alcoholic beverages over 7% alcohol by volume, defacing public property, golfing, harming wildlife, littering.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; camping, fires, motor vehicles.

*All pets must be leashed (no longer than 10 feet) and waste removed.
