Welcome to the beautiful Pat Bayle State Forest located near West Cook, Minnesota. This forest is surrounded by the much larger Superior National Forest, one of the largest National Forests in the United States. 2,301 feet above sea level Eagle Mountain, the highest natural point in Minnesota, is located inside the forest boundaries. There are many multipurpose trails for all seasons just waiting to be explored. Some of the resident wildlife include white-tailed deer, moose, bears, squirrels, and many others.
