Alfsborg Wildlife Management Area

Welcome to Alfsborg Wildlife Management Area in Winthrop, Minnesota. This preserve was first established in 2001 when the Sibley County chapter of Pheasants Forever donated the land to the State of Minnesota. It consists of mostly upland and lowland forest and wet meadow habitats on what was the former Lake Bed of Mud Lake.
