Welcome to Missouri's awesome Castlewood State Park, home of the some of the best mountain biking trails in the Saint Louis Area. This has been a popular urban escape zone for the people of Saint Louis for many decades but it has only been a State Park since 1974. There are so many honeysuckle plants here that it is considered an invasive species that is disrupting the local ecosystem.
